If you’re looking for unique and bespoke lighting solutions, I specialize in handcrafting one-off lighting that is made to your specification. One of my recent projects involved creating decorative light shades for a cafe area in a shopping centre. The butterfly motif was a specific request from the customer, which I drew in-house, using CAD design and then had laser cut in stainless steel.

I  heat-coloured the butterflies to show the range of beautiful coloured hues. The 600mm diameter wire shade was made in-house and powder-coated in a sleek black finish.

To add to the overall aesthetic, I use retro-inspired bulbs and cables to hold the shade, which not only adds interest but also creates a soft amber ambient mood light that can be dimmed to your preference. I would like to use different designs, such as dragonflies or ancient astrological symbols, to expand this range.
