Hollow Knight Bench commission

Benches are checkpoints throughout Hallownest that the Knight can sit on to perform several actions:

Respawn at the Bench after quitting the game or dying.
Replenish all health
Equip and unequip Charms.
Which of course is a massive bonus to anyone needing a bit of rest and rejuvenation after a hard day’s work.

Bit of an odd one really —

I was tasked with creating a bench inspired by the ‘Hollow Knight’ computer game. I am not a gamer myself, ( ever since I compulsively played OG. Tomb Raider when it first came out ).

Looking at the great visual feel and music of this game I became inspired. With limited artwork as a reference, I crafted a design that delighted the customer. I’m currently in the process of galvanizing and applying a black finish to make the bench suitable for outdoor use. It’s been a unique and enjoyable commission that I’ve thoroughly appreciated.
